About The Photographer:

I first realized my interest in photography during a high school photography course. The course was available instead of a traditional earth science class. For me, it was the thrill of taking photographs then rushing back into the school's darkroom to develop my negatives and prints.

The following year I got a position on the yearbook as editor of photography. I also advanced to an "Art Photography" class which delved into the world of color prints. Generally I like black and white photography but my growing passion is to work more with color images.

Today I specialize in photography utilizing the digital format. This growing media has really advanced with the technology for both digital SLR's and the storage devices for the files.

A Kodak DC3400 - an early model with only 2.0 megapixels, was my first digital camera. That little bugger was an awesome first digital camera and I soon lost interest in film entirely. Tthe image quality would not allow for enlargements, even though on a smaller scale the pictures were quite clear. Today my camera is a Cannon EOS D20. The cannon is a SLR digital camera that just keeps impressing me.

I live and work in Phoenixville, Chester County. P'ville is a town within the western suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
